EGU Assembly, Vienna

Olex data went on display as part of a poster presentation on ‘Marine mapping in a drowned glacial environment’ . The first time Olex data has been used in this way.

July-August 07

ECOMAR Cruise

A scientific expedition to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge covering a range of biological disciplines and researchers from more than seven different organisations. The Olex is being used to locate sites for further scientific investigation in real-time.

Fishing 08, Glasgow

Fishing 08.               Friday 4th April

This year oceanDTM  co-sponsored a seminar with the British Geological Survey highlighting some of the scientific discoveries made using the Olex system.

Fishing 08 is an international exhibition dedicated to the needs of the commercial fisherman.

Dr Mads Huuse and Dr Matteo Spagnolo presented some of their research using Olex  data and were well  received by an interested audience.
